So far so goodOctober 14, 2008 The headphones arrived in good shape and on time. I have the headphones for a month now. I've used the headphones once on a plane for about 4 hours and they worked great. So far so good!
PerfectOctober 13, 2008 My husband and I traveled overseas for the first time and this product was perfect for the long flight. It truly does cut out the background noise and made movie watching, listening to the IPod, and sleeping enjoyable.
Good sound quality but....October 13, 2008 I decided to buy this headphone after reading many reviews on a couple headphones. In my opinion, I would say that this headphone gives a nice sound quality (I use with my Zune). However, I am not satisfied much on the noise canceling mode much. I expect that external noise is screened more.
In conclusion, in term of sound quality, I give 5 stars but for the noise canceling mode, I give 3 stars.
Good in the office, less good on the planeOctober 12, 2008 These headphones work very well for my purposes, but they won't satisfy everyone. Audio quality is good, but not great: compared to the open, clean sound of a pair of Grados these sound a little muffled and muddy. For my needs, the noise cancellation is great: window air conditioners, dehumidifiers, dishwashers, office ventilation systems are all virtually inaudible with the noise cancellation switched on. I've only used the headphones on airplanes a couple of times, and found them less satisfactory there. The QuietPoints help a lot, and jazz and rock are clearly audible. But quiet passages in classical music are still hard to hear, even with much of the plane's background hum cancelled out.
great sound but hurts my earsOctober 12, 2008 As other reviewers have described, the sound quality is great for the price. But I find the headset uncomfortable after just a few minutes. I don't think my ears are unusually large, but they get crunched uncomfortably by the headset, enough that I don't really want to keep it on for more than an hour.
