Garmin GPS is an excellent discovery.But their product can't give 100% satisfaction to customers.Because of it's STAND. The STAND which comes along with GERMIN GPS is the worst product I ever seen. It can't give any stability to your GPS.
But whosoever discover DASHBOARD MOUNT has a great creative mind. I would give my strong advice to all............to go for this Product.
GPS 3 legged dash board mount w/ DC power cordSeptember 2, 2008 Used the product on a recent trip and it didn't move a bit. Much better than the GPS window mount, which would fall off without any warning during the summer. This dash mount works very well, it didn't slide on the on the dashboard and it was the right height to view the GPS screen. Good price for what you get.
Nice piece of equipment.September 1, 2008 I have really enjoyed this new way to mount my garmen gps. This is much more efficient and I don't have to keep removing it from the windshield.
Great productAugust 29, 2008 This dash mount makes it really easy to move the unit from vehicle to vehicle. In most situations it stays put, but sometimes if the dash is severely sloped and the road is rough it shifts while driving, requiring constant adjustments. However, overall I am pleased with it.
Low-profile, but does the job!August 24, 2008 I have to admit, when I opened the box, I was skeptical. This mount was so small I doubted it would work. Much to my delight, the small weights do their job and keep the GPS (the Garmin Streetpilot is rather "chunky") perfectly stable, even going around those sharp exit ramps on the interstate. I haven't had it move once and am very glad I made this purchase - dashboard mount works much, much better in our car than the windsheild suction cup.
