Best in what it boasts of !September 3, 2008 SD850 definitely delivers the quality it boasts of. All-in-all, I had total idea what I was buying as I had already clicked tons of excellent pics with my friend's SD850. Its close angle shots turn out to be superb.. just like a professional photography! Shutter speed is satisfacorily high.. so u can click quick pictures one after other. SD850 is a must for camera lovers!
teacherSeptember 1, 2008 My Canon PowerShot SD850 IS has more features than the "casual user" might need. But, if you are willing to spend the extra time to become familiar with the camera, it will make you a better photographer; at least your friends will think so as they see a better photograph.
Excellent cameraSeptember 1, 2008 I did quite extensive research and decided to buy the Canon SD850 before a recent trip. It's an excellent camera within the price range of my budget and the feature I need. The two features I like the most are the macro and photo stitch. The macro feature is great for taking static picture of flowers, wild life etc. The photo stitch function is good for taking panoramic view. Along with the camera, I bought a 4GB SD card which can hold over one thousand pictures. The other nice feature is the software give you the option of downloading all photos or newly taken pictures.
terrific!!August 30, 2008 great camera-even my wife can use it. controls are very easy to use and w/ the canon printer we are all set.
PowerShot ReviewAugust 29, 2008 Poor pictures when you have to use flash. Instruction booklet is confusing and hard to follow. I would probably not purchase this camera again.
