Great!July 9, 2008 Does what i need it to do! had to hook up some PC speakers to my DVR receiver so I can get some stereo sound since my tv is only mono. Worked like a charm.
JUST INCREASED TO FIVE STARSJune 22, 2008 I live in an apt. and like to watch tv in the middle of the night without disturbing my sleeping neighbors. It would not work with my last tv, as it HAD NO AUDIO OUTPUTS (thus the old 3-star rating), so I used it with the DVD only. Since replacing the old tv with the newly released Vizio 32 inch plasma, I am able to watch full cable and DVD via headphones. I highly recommend using inline sound adjustable headphones, as the sound is NOT adjustable via your tv or DVD remotes. Great product for tv's without standard headphone inputs.

The cable works. There's no loss in audio quality as far as I can tell, even using high end headphones. The End.

Very useful addition to my travel collection of cables and connectors. Walk up to just about anyone's home audio gear and plug in. I use it mostly in conjunction with an iPod dock connector to male 1/8th inch stereo cable made by this same manufacturer. Dock out gives you a better result than the headphone jack on an iPod in many cases.
Two major electronics retailers told me that this cable combination of female 1/8th inch stereo to left and right RCA male jacks did not exist and I would have to make my own-- WRONG. And this cable is inexpensive as well.
