welcome back boys!! September 29, 2008
I was skeptical about the new cd from NKOTB...I was a huge fan back in the day and I bought tickets to one of the Toronto shows for the sole purpose of hearing all the old songs. A few weeks before the concert, I picked up this CD so I would at least be familiar with the new music. Was I ever surprised to find myself singing along after a few listens!!
Fantastic comeback album! It hasn't left my stereo since the concert!! They've definitely updated their sound to make the music relevant for today. Old fans (like myself) will welcome back the five boys from Boston with open arms - they've still got "The Right Stuff"! The songs are catchy...the song 'Dirty Dancing' with its reference to Patrick Swayze is key. 'Summertime' was a good choice for the first single...upbeat and fun, and 'Single' is an excellent follow-up.
This fan certainly hopes there will be more new music from New Kids On The Block in the future!
NKOTB is Back!!! September 21, 2008
The New Kids On the Block are still the NEW KIDS! I don't know why some people are calling them the "old kids on the block" but this cd is far from making these boys sound old. I was extremely impressed with this cd...and even more impressed when I went to their first 2008 reunion concert. These boys still have "the right stuff" & then some...What a great comeback!

WOW, this cd is so impressive. I really did not know what to expect after such a long absence. I have listened to the entire album a few times over and almost every song makes me want to dance! Great beats, very catchy songs. Particularly "click, click, click", "single", "2 in the morning", and many more. Definitely holds up to the old stuff, which is in a class all its own to us old fans!
