"Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne" continues the demon-summoning tradition of the series. You can summon and recruit demons who will fight for you. Their statistics can also be upgraded in battles and by equipping magatamas, bug-like creatures who grant them demonic powers. Exploration and battles are now played from 3rd person perspective. During turn-based battles, you can gain extra turns by inflicting critical damage on the enemy, or pass turns to your party members.
