3 out of 5 stars Fable 2: Worth it?   November 17, 2008
Fable 2
I have played both fables for a fair amount of time, the new one though was something a bit diferent from the original, with its new perks and abilities youre character can gain, it seems "ok" but....if youre looking for entirely new graphics, going to the best, or "extreme" dont expect it in this sequal, for graphics remain the same, posibly a bit diferent but the down side for me was that the game did have a little "lagg" added to it. So i conclude that it was a pretty decent game, had a well story to it and well if you have the money go for it.

3 out of 5 stars Good but buggy   November 11, 2008
Fable II is a blast, but on release is plagued by some rather serious bugs and instabilities that can make the game un-winnable and force a restart. I recommend this game, but if you haven't picked it up yet it is perhaps advisable to wait a couple weeks for it to be patched and stable.

5 out of 5 stars great   November 11, 2008
fable 2 is an amazing game. a great storyline (fable 1 storyline was better in my opinion tho) great graphics, great combat system, great rpg system, and the quests are great. one big problem was the "freeze" bug, which has been freezing games, rendering fable games useless, and even causeing the RROD (red ring of death) being a HUGE lionhead/fable/rpg fan, i bought this game the 2nd day it was out, and it caused big overheating problems with my xbox (not permanent tho, i just let it cool outside a bit and it was good) ao i must recommend buying this game, but waiting a bit for a glitch update.

4 out of 5 stars Why do i have to title? 4 stars   November 9, 2008
Good Rpg lots to do, owning property is a nice feature, you can now buy almost any building in the game. spell casting is finicky but overall it's the same fable fun

2 out of 5 stars Dissapointingt game, no re-playability   November 9, 2008

Fable 2 is a game that had so much potential to be great, but just fell short. It's almost like the creators couldn't decide on the ratung. The game is rated M for mature, but the majority of the game is very childish. Yout character never speaks, just does different emotions. Farting, burping, flexing, playing music, etc. Although they are fun, it really gets tiring after a while. All you really need to do is the same emotion over and over again, and everyone will eventually fall in love with you. It seems the "M" rating is solely because you can have sex with women or men that you meet. The game would be better off without that, and have a lower rating like "T" for teen.

The fighting aspect of the game is very straightforward. One button for melee, one for magic, one for ranged. You can unlock chain/combo attacks, or zoom for range, the controls are basically hold a button with the direction to perform. Not a lot of originality.

The one main problem with this game is it's way too easy. There are no difficulty settings, and if you die, you just pop back to life in the same situation. Whoever you're fighting hasn't even been restored to full health.

I can go on and on about the small anoying parts of this game. It's a good game to play once, you can finish the game in about 10 hours, and finish all quests in 20 hours or so. After that, you'll probably shove the game on the shelf, and not touch it ever again. Really dissapointing game. 2/5
