This game is a masterpiece - something I came to realize when I was not even half way through it. For the time it was released the graphics are amazing. Now, despite all the new games out there, the graphics are sill pretty impressive (although it is much more than the graphics that make a game amazing!)
Furthermore, if you are at all a fan of Final Fantasy, this game is for you! Not only because gameplay is similar, but because there are a lot of Final Fantasy characters in there waiting for you (Sephiroth happens to be the hardest boss).
Once you disregard the 'raincloud' that seems to follow this game around, making it look childish, you start to see how the story, the gameplay, and the characters seem to come together and make this masterpiece what it really is - Kingdom Hearts.

first lets hear the concept."hey im gonna make a story about a 14 year old boy who teams up with goofy and donald duck and final fantasy characters to save his friends."....WTF?!well from reading that you'd think i hated it...WRONG
!!! i loved this game!!! the story is like i just typed,wierd but very fun in the end.the game play is as simple as it gets.the controls are very simple and easy to learn.does this hurt the game?....NOOO!! its what makes it fun!you go to many diffenrent disney themed worlds were you team up with disney characters!!!(ie:the nightmare before christmas' Jack Skellington!!)the camera is a bit of a problem, and the gummi ship sucks.BUT not so much that they ruin the game.if you want a fun game with a good depth in the story,try kingdom hearts.
it gets a very cool 5 out of 5 p.s:Kingdom Hearts 2 looks WICKED AWESOME!!!

it was a fun game but the beginning was confuseing. what kind of idiot goes into battle against a hundred foot tall demen made purly from darkness who is destroying very worlds and you've got a key. a guy with big feet and 1 posesed friend 1 friend who does not have a heart. oh ya i almost forgot he's got cartoons.
