Don't believe the negative reviews! August 28, 2008
I was not going to buy this game because of all the negative press it received, but my daughter, a huge Godzilla movie fan, really wanted the game, so, reluctantly, I picked it up.
Boy, am I glad I did! We have so much fun playing this over the top ridiculous game! The Wii system enables you to get right into the comic action of stomping around on tanks and buildings, breathing fire, and going head to head against some of the wackiest monsters ever created by Toho!
We all have a great laugh together re-enacting those hokey, lovable monster movies.
The game makers have wisely given you the ability to turn off the annoying psuedo-metal soundtrack that could only appeal to the braindead, and to adjust the level of the sound effects so that it is not too intense for younger players.
The game is silly and fun, and just challenging enough to keep you interested and coming back for more stomping good fun!
