This game is actually a really fun game. The prolog makes the game start out slow but as the story starts picking up you'll be playing for hours. In this game you play as either Ellen or Keats. Ellen is a girl who lost her mother when she was very young and doesn't remember much of her early childhood. She gets a letter that is supposedly from her mother telling her to come and find her at Doolin village. Keats on the other hand is a reporter who comes to Dooling village because he got a letter saying that he could find a story there. As these two characters meet they find that they can travel in and out of the Netherworld every night.
The graphics in this game are awesome and it has amazing sixaxis control. The voice acting is great, especially for Keats, and the fight scenes are also cool. Neither character has a weapon but instead you suck the souls out of your enemies and can later use their souls to fight for you. The creatures that you kill are called folks and there are many many folks to suck the souls out of in every place you go to.
My only complaints are that it is sometimes hard to know where your supposed to go and the rooms you have to fight in are sometimes to small and you get stuck in a corner surrounded by multiple folks. Also they show a lot of the story in sort of a comic strip which takes away from the suspense. Other than that this is an awesome game with a really good story line.
