Purchased this item figuring you wouldn't have to take apart the Wii remotes to charge the batteries in them. This induction technology works well with things like electric toothbrushes, so it is nothing new.
Found that one pack was dead out of the package, and the other pack didn't fully charge even after 24 hours. The product claims to charge in 6 hours.
Customer service from Teknocreations didn't reply.
I hope that someone will make a similar product in the future, with better quality control.
UPDATE: Returned first set, tried a second set. Charged for over 36 hours (should have charged in 6 hours). Tried them and they lasted for one game of bowling. I'm still not even slightly impressed.
