Must-have for receiverMay 29, 2008 Great plug and play item. EXCEPTIONAL price on Amazon! Was about 1/2 of what I could find it for elsewhere. Charges your iPod, and allows playback through your receiver. Is weighted to prevent it from tipping over, or moving around when you handle your iPod. Have not messed around with the video and on-screen functions yet...looks a bit tricky through the Yamaha receiver (not terribly user friendly). At this price...this really is a must-have, and beats those earphone jack cables running into the receiver!

Yamaha YDS-10 & IpodMay 26, 2008 We bought this Ipod dock to connect our Ipod to a Yamaha Home Theater Receiver that was not connected to a TV screen. The instruction manual to control the Ipod is definitely inadequate. We still don't have the full command of this control yet and are unable to find any more details anywhere on the internet. The sound quality is otherwise as expected.
Very SatisfiedMay 23, 2008 The Yamaha YDS-10 was the recommended dock for my Yamaha receiver; it works seemlessly - just plug in, switch to the proper input, and the iPod plays. The sound quality has been top notch. It is a simple product, and I have been very satisfied as I appreciate the ease of use.
