5 out of 5 stars sweet product   August 25, 2008
HDMI cables are the best on the market for sound and picture, and when they are sold in retail stores for $30-$150 it is amazing to get them on here for less than ten dollars. Cables work great for game systems, up-convert dvd players and blu-ray (a great investment)

5 out of 5 stars Well Worth A Small Investment   August 25, 2008
One can pay as much as one likes for an HDMI cable. I am not so inlcined when the only object is to get the best picuture out of 1080p upconverting DVD player on a 1080p plasma television. I am simply delighted with the result, and am especially delighted that I did not spend the $50 to $100 most retailers ask for a 6 foot HDMI cable.

5 out of 5 stars A Cable is a Cable   August 24, 2008

I purchased this cable to connect my PlayStation 3 to a 32" 720p LCD televison. Before I got this cable in the mail, I was temporarily using a much more expensive Belkin HDMI cable that I normally use for something else. After switching cables, I can say that there is absolutely NO detectable difference in video or audio quality (and that means alot coming from me, as I know quite a bit about HD sets). You could go out and purchased a $79.99 HDMI cable "specially" made for the PS3, (or any other HD device) or you could get this one for just under $2, which does the EXACT same thing! You don't need to spend big bucks to get the most out of your HD TV.
The only downside to this cable is that it comes with absolutely no paperwork, or warranty of any kind. It just comes in a sealed plastic envelope. Fortunately, HDMI cables are pretty much self-explanitory: you plug one end into your TV, and the other end into your player.
I definitely reccomend picking up this HDMI cable to get the most out of your HD TV. There is NO need to spend $80 for a major brand name cable!

5 out of 5 stars i can't believe it!   August 24, 2008
it's cheap the quality is more than good what else you want?!
it is nicely covered with a plastic bag.
i also tried to compare it with an expensive product that coast 160$ , and i found out there was really no differences. i bought three.

2 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for.   August 23, 2008
I bought 3 of the Inspire HDMI cables, mainly because of the insanely cheap price and the glowing user reviews.

Once I received the cables, I connected my upconverting DVD player to the TV and, the very first time I disconnected it, the connector broke clean off the cable. Hey, it's a $2 cable, right? Luckily, 3 cables was one more than I needed, so I had an extra. I hooked up the DVD player again and it works great: no garbled data or loss of picture quality.

Next, I connected my HD cable box. This time, the structural integrity of the cable held up, but on some of the HD channels, I experienced pixel and audio drop-out. I reverted back to my previous setup of component video and optical audio and the problem went away. Thus, it's reasonable to conclude that this cable was the problem.

A success rate of 1 out of 3 with these cables does save a considerable amount of money vs. a Monster cable, but temper your expectations. A $2 cable is what you pay for, and a $2 cable is what you get.
