works great for meFebruary 15, 2008 Sennheiser HD 205 Studio Monitor DJ Headphones w/ Swivel Ear Cup I was looking for a reasonably priced head phones that can block noise since I am working in a very loud laboratory. Also I didnt want to get an amp. So far this headphone set has been working great for me. I can hear my music and podcasts clearly, I dont get headaches, so i am very happy with the product. At first it hurt my ears since the ear cups are a bit smaller than my ears but I just stretched it using a metal tray, so it doesnt hurt anymore. I took this advice from several websites and my brother. in short I like what i received and I would recommend it to others who are looking for a less expensive alternative to noise block high quality headphones.
Stereo HeadphoneJanuary 27, 2008 These headphones are great for traveling. The sensitivity gain for my MP3 player is excellent. Very warm and rich sounding. There is adequate amount of punch bass. They are not perfect. The only weakness in mid-range frequency.The headband is little short so it might be tight for someone with big head. Overall, they produce a satisfying audio listening experience. You will not be disappointed. Good quality construction.
Awesome!December 13, 2007 I don't know much about audio, but these are some of the better sounding headphones I have heard! I couldn't tell much of a difference between these and my friends $170 BOSE headphones. I do agree that they are kind of tight, I pretty much fixed that though by pulling them apart a little bit. It helped them fit a little more comfortably. Long cord is obnoxious for my use, but someday it might come in handy who knows. Overall well worth my money!
Excellent headphonesOctober 17, 2007 The headphones are excellent and perform perfectly. The ONLY negative is that the "springiness" or "spring strength" of the band to which the phones are attached is too tight, and as a result presses the head more tightly than is desired. The customer suggestion here would be "Try to see if there is an ADJUSTABLE springiness possible, as opposed to a FIXED spring strength for that band."
Great Cans...!June 24, 2007 These are great headphones, with good sound balance in the bass, smooth, and with an overall warm character. The nine foot cord is a plus. However I wish I'd known about Sennheiser HD 435 which has a cord which is detachable and easy to replace - great because that's usually the first thing to fail on headphones- and has a volume control feature on the cord. But I'm satisfied well enough with this one.
