Bad experience with this SD cardJuly 24, 2007 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
Please do not buy this product. It worked well for just a few weeks (3 or so) and then right in the middle of our Las Vegas trip when I had almost 1GB of pictures taken on that day, with 1 more GB to go it just died. It gave a memory card error and my camera was unable to read or write into it. I plugged it into my computer and the computer failed to get any data out of it too. I bought a new SD card and my camera worked just fine. So I lost all the memories of our trip in just a second. I got an RMA from Kingston where they replace the broken card but you are responsible for shipping it to and from them. The total shipping cost would be approximately 10$. I am not sure whether its worth it because you might get another card that might die again on you when other brands are available for just $20...
Just as expectedJuly 23, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered the 2gb elite pro SD card about a month ago. I haven't had a problem with it at all, it has worked just as expected. I don't know if the higher speed actually effects anything I do, but I figured for a few dollars more, I might as well. I use it with my Panasonic FZ7. From my experiences, it writes very fast and my camera is ready for the next picture quickly.
Does what it's supposed toJuly 22, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Seems to do the trick for storing photos from my DSLR. Fast enough that it can keep up with continuous shooting on my D40x in all but RAW mode. Large enough to hold plenty of images without changing cards.
Solid little cardJuly 21, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought 3 of these SD cards and love 'em! I use them in both my Nikon coolpix P5000 10mp digital camera and my Nikon D80 DSLR (it was unfortunate that Nikon had to change memory cards from CF to SD in thier D80, but that's another issue) As far as speed goes "it's zippy" I can shoot back to back pix without lag. I would reccomend these little bad boys.
Like a charm...not!July 21, 2007 I bought this for my Canon S3IS. Works great, video and pictures. It also works in my Nikon L11 and my Canon Elura 85. Like I said, it works really well and I will buy more of these instead of shopping around when I need more memory. Thanks
Edited 9/20/07 This card has failed twice now, erasing all the pictures in my Canon S3 IS. I am buying a new one and using this one as a dubious backup card.
