Comfort while wearing glassesMarch 28, 2008 I'm not a stereophile and can't really speak to lack of bass notes, but while listening to the 70's classic "American Pie", I heard lovely high notes and tones I've never heard in 30+ years of listening to this song.
What I like - * Nice clear sound that actually differentiates between ears.
* Very comfortable fit in my medium-size ears. I use the sponge covers.
* Around-the-back cord - I wasn't sure why the cord was asymmetrical until reading another review.
*Ear hooks are super comfortable, even while wearing glasses, which I do all the time.
*I can turn down the volume and answer the phone without removing the ear buds.
I'm listening to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" while writing this - excellent listening experience.
FantasticMarch 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ok - So i read some good reviews and some bad. First - IGNORE the people who say not loud enough or bad quality. You need to take a step back and look at the source of these reviews. These are probably people who are very picky and or expecting WAY too much.. These are basically IN THE EAR - EAR BUD head phones.. NOT noise canceling. These are plenty loud for jogging. The one cool feature i didnt know it had was that the "loop" part is moldable to your ear size.. after playing around and finding what i liked, they NEVER fall off.. and i mean NEVER. So the bass isnt as good as others (my sennheiser hd a202 are awesome..) but you get more than what you pay for vs. the sony and panasonic versions.. With Sennheiser you just cant go wrong. Try them out. they are fantastic
Great except for........February 9, 2008 I purchased these based on the fact that regular buds don't stay put in my ears, especially during movement. These are very comfortable and very stylish looking. The inline volume adjuster is nice. But...the one thing that disappointed me was the bass. Or lack thereof. Dynamic bass response is what it cliams on the package. Not. Overall, except for that, they are really good.
Decent Headphones, but does not fit my ear...January 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The sound quality is decent, however the earphones do not fit my ear. I advise people with small kernels to not purchase this item, or you'll be spending a lot of time with your hands trying to adjust these earphones in to your ears...
Excellent headphones for active listenersJanuary 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Of all the headphones I've used in the past, the Sennheiser brand has always been my favorite. Excellent sound, impressive build quality, and great value.
When searching for headphones to be used with my MP3 player, this model in particular was attractive to me because: 1) the behind-the-head asymmetrical cable, 2) inline volume control, and 3) adjustable ear clips.
All three features work as expected: I can strap my mp3 player to my arm and the asymmetrical cable keeps the cord out of my way while I work out; The inline volume control is handy for when I want to temporarily drop the volume down (to talk to someone, etc) but don't want to have to unlock and pause my mp3 player; the adjustable ear clips hold on tightly but still comfortably, and have kept the headphones in place through a whole mess of activites during which normal earbuds would have fallen out.
The sound quality is as I was expecting, good, but not up to studio headphone quality (They are earbuds afterall.) As far as comparison to other earbuds go, these are much better than the stock headphones that came with my mp3 player, and on par with similarly priced models by sony, philips, koss, etc. They have great volume, even in noisy environments, and do an OK job at blocking outside noise.
This model's unique features are what made me choose it over a slew of nearly identical headphones, and the Sennheiser name did not let me down!
