I am using this dvd player in my bedroom with my sony bravia tv. I am very pleased with this unit. The picture, (clear and superior quality) would make you believe it is more expensive unit. The remote is user friendly. This is a much better constructed unit than the 50 dollar sony dvd player that amazon is selling. For the extra money, this one is very well worth it.
Sony DVD Top QualityOctober 12, 2008 I use this slim line DVD with my Sony Bravia HDTV & get an excellent picture quality. I have high regard for Sony products & have over the years continued to buy & use them. I highly recommend them.

Sony DVP-NS700H/B 1080p Upscaling DVD Player. I expected some improvement over my current DVD Player, but this player made a big difference. It is giving me a clean clear picture on my Hitachi 720P HDTV, I can only imagine what the difference would be on a 1080P resolution HDTV. This is a great way to go if you want to wait for the Blu Ray players to come down in price.
I also ordered a HDMI Cable at the same time and used it instead of Component cables.
Great little dvd playerOctober 9, 2008 This DVD player is a great value for the money. It is slim enough to fit right in the smallest spaces, yet delivers huge playback! I am very happy with this purchase and will definitely buy a Sony again.
dvd playerOctober 8, 2008 This is a nice dvd player at a good price. I bought a new sony in place of my old one. The only reason I gave it a four is because there are not many control buttons on the player itself. The remote comes with it but if it were to brake you wouldn't be able to use it.
