It just worksNovember 12, 2007 Prompt delivery and perfect condition. This adapter works without problems. The only negitive is that I could have used a text hint about the release catch, but that was only a momentary glitch on an otherwise effortless install.
ADC to DVI-DNovember 8, 2007 This adapter allows you to use the ADC port on you graphics card to hook up to a DVI-D capable LCD monitor. In my case, a G5 with a X850 XT graphics card is supporting 2 Dell 2407WFP 24" monitors. G5w/ ADC port to F2E9142-WHT adapter to DVI-D cable to monitor = lots of viewable real estate.
It worksOctober 1, 2007 Not much to say about an adaptor. It works, and the price is almost reasonable. If your Mac has a ADC jack, you need this to hook up almost any dvi monitor.
just what i neededSeptember 25, 2007 i did some resarch online and figured out this was the adapter i needed to hook up an older G4 tower (2001-ish) to a new 20 inch apple cinema display. I haven't used it much (thankfully since its only a back-up system incase my first generation macbook pro goes from just acting quarky to dead); but the few times i have use it, it works fine. If you are sure this is what you need, i'd recommend it, but make sure this is the right type of DVI since there are digital and analog versions.
adc to dviJuly 3, 2007 Works great, I have a G4 Quicksilver Mac and the dvi to adc converter allows me to connect the cinema display up with no problems. Wow, what a monitor!
