This is an over priced cable. I fould OXYGEN-FREE-COPPER wire by philips for half the price here 100' Better PHILIPS speaker wire

Name Brand at Reasonable PriceJanuary 13, 2008 Name brands may not be important to some people, or perhaps price is more important than brand. For those who look for name brands at bargain prices, this is a pretty good choice. The wire's only 16 gauge (not extremely heavy), but that should be enough for all but the most demanding uses. The insulation feels very heavy-duty and yet still very flexible. Overall, the wire is of high quality and price is not too unreasonable for about 100 FT of wire. I got exactly what I expected.
Works GreatJanuary 8, 2008 The wire was a great deal and it works great. I don't have a THX receiver, but if I ever get one, I've already got plenty of speaker wire and you can't beat it for the price.

I was looking forward to using this product for all of my home theatre speaker-amp connections. As I was running the wire, I discovered that the wire pair does not have clear distinguishing markings identifying the polarity. The ridge on one of the wires is very difficult to detect as the jacket is clear and the wire inside is identical on both sides. Putting a stripe or wording more often on one of the wires would make identification much easier so the speakers don't get hooked up out of phase. Otherwise the wire functions very well.
Gets the job doneDecember 28, 2007 I ran this wire in lengths up to 40 feet. The sound is great and the price is reasonable. You don't always need the Monster name, but their products perform.
