I replaced SONY provided wires because of their length is not sufficient. The sound quality is really great with Monster cable. I am impressed with quality of cable.

I actually didn't buy this because of the Monster name brand, I bought this because it was the cheapest 100 ft. of 16 guage wire that I could find anywhere. It worked perfect too! It was a good length that setup my 5.1 surround system without a problem. Don't skip out on monster just because people say it is expensive. Sometimes it's the cheapest if you look around.

Big thick speaker cable DOES make a big difference. For the price, you can't get better stuff than Monster Standard THX-Certified Speaker Cable.

I picked this speaker cable up for around $30, I believe. I compared similar items at Circuit City and this was a great deal.

quality of the wire excellent; thickness, etc. Good. Unfortunately, not manufactured with red metal or copper, Pos wire, and white metal Neg. Caused OVERLOAD problems while rigging new, center speaker. If I'd known, I wouldn't have bought it.
