I looked around for a while for a dash mount that would work for my Nuvi 660. It didn't take long for the windshild mount to start picking up dust and other debris making the suction cup not hold as well as when it came out of the package.
This dash friction mount works great and makes it easier to relocate between vehicles. Also easier to move out of sight to prevent thefts as it fits in my console.
Would highly recommend. Costs $15+ more in stores, so this is a good buy (especially if you buy something else to get you over the $25 requirement).

After looking at several options for my Nuvi 260W, I decided on this product. I was skeptical on a friction type mount as I don't always take turns at the appropriate speed and when I haul heavy loads I occasionally have to stop very quickly. This mount has stayed right where I put it every time. It's easiy to remove from my dash to hide from wouldbe thieves. Great product.

Great product. Stays on the dash like it is glued down. Keeps the unit closer to the driver than the window mount would.
