If it fits your dashboardAugust 9, 2008 If this product fits on your dashboard it works great. Mine was too small for it to work properly. Outside company that processed order because Amazon did not have it in stock was great. No problem in returning it for full credit
Must HaveAugust 8, 2008 The windshield mount leaves the unit too far to reach, this lets you place the unit where you want ad always have it within reach.
GArmin Friction Dash mountAugust 6, 2008 This item is perfect for those of us that live in MN where we can't attach a GPS to our windshield. This holds my GPs, was easy to figure out and works great. Highly recommend.
Works as advertised !August 6, 2008 I like this little sandbag thingy, it doesn't slip and works just as advertised, and keeps it simple.
Fantastic solutionAugust 6, 2008 These days, with GPS's becoming more desirable to steal from cars, we wanted to remove the window mount the GPS came with. I also don't use the GPS all the time, and wanted to be able to take it with me when I travelled, to save on costs when renting a car.
This does all of this :) I can hide it in my glove box when it's not in use.
It is a little bulky, so you may lose some space in the storage bins in your car, but it is a great solution.
