Why spend the extra $$$ on Monstrous (like the company) cables when you can get a great cable like this from Amazon for a much cheaper price. I used it to get 1080p output on my projector using a 1080p receiver and 1080p DVD player.
Buy these instead of the more expensive optionsJune 28, 2008 I have bought two of these on two separately occasions and both arrived quickly and worked perfectly. There is no reason to spend the extra money on a high-priced HDMI cables (just make sure you get one that is rated as 1.3). Monster Cable is an evil company who sues everybody they can, massively overprices their products, and makes up terms to apply to non-existent technology they claim to incorporate. Cables Unlimited gets my vote for sure!!

This cable is great. There is no reason to spend large amounts of money on name-brand HDMI cables. Here's the inside scoop: they all do the same thing! Gold-plating, reinforced plugs, etc. mean very little in terms of picture quality.
In short, spend as little as possible. I got this cord months ago for around $12, so even the $21 they are listed at now is kind of high. Shop around.
Perfect!May 31, 2008 Exactly as described. It is the exact same quality as any HDMI cable (including Monster, of course), and it works perfectly. Any time I purchase an HDMI cable in the future, it will be one of these. Really, really good and a very fair price.
