They just last...and last! November 9, 2008
What can I say...I'm impressed! Do you the feeling of going for your batteries, just to remember that you forgot to charge them and now you have no time?! Well...that will not happen with this ones! :-) As they say, these batteries can hold the charge for more than 5 months after charged. It's like buying batteries...but you can re-charge them over and over again!
You can't go wrong with these ones!

Foolishly I bought some generic brand rechargeable AA batteries a few months ago, thinking that there wouldn't be much difference between different brands of batteries. How wrong I was. The ones I had purchased were the cheapest variety available in China and were of very poor quality. They lasted just three days in my cordless laser mouse. When later I heard about Sanyo eneloop batteries, I bought a pack as a replacement for the cheap Chinese ones, and the first time I used them in my laser mouse they lasted for two months. The Chinese batteries have now been thrown away.

Wish I'd discovered these sooner. One day all rechargeables will be like this. They can be charged and left for months. No more problems with having to remember to put them on charge the night before etc. Great value too.

These are the answer for digital cameras - and in fact anywhere you want a long life, high capacity battery. They hold their charge, sustain their performance and recharge quickly - we use several sets in school cameras which were always running flat (on ordinary NiMh batteries) just when the students needed them, a real pain. The Eneloops last for weeks!!! Our only problem is, we have to check they are still there when the cameras are returned, they are very desirable batteries!!!!

I bought these Eneloops for my wireless bluetooth Apple mighty mouse and keyboard. I found that regular rechargeable batteries would lose their charge after a week through self discharge before the keyboard and mouse had even a chance of using a fraction of the rechargeable batteries capacity. I didn't like the idea of going through a mountain of alkalines and lucked upon discovering the Eneloops which folks were using to power their Wii remotes. 20 is a lot for 8 batteries but because these actually hold their charge there are no wasted recharge cycles. Typically a rechargeable battery has 500 recharge cycles. They come pre-charged and lose the first 20% of their capacity fairly quickly. The remaining 80% self discharges very slowly (after many months versus a week for a regular rechargeable).
Much, much better than regular rechargeable batteries.
