 Sound great but not very portable December 2, 2008
I bought these speakers to use with my Creative MP3 player and also for improved sound when using my laptop. Originally I'd ordered them hoping that they would be portable enough to take around with me when travelling etc, but their only downside is that they're a bit weighty to do that really. However, the good side to that weightiness is that there is an excellent sound from the speakers and a good bass that is surprising considering their small size.
In use they can be played loudly too and fill even larger rooms quite well. In their smart black finish they look good but without looking too flashy or intrusive. Used with the laptop it makes for a far better experience watching DVDs or downloaded TV etc, and with the MP3 player I have been able to enjoy my music wherever I am throughout the house.
Bedroom Speakers November 29, 2008
I bought these a while back now at around 50. They look very nice and are very well designed. I have them wired up to a basic turntable via the auxilary port on the side of one of the speakers. The sound that they produce is quite terrific, and provides the sound quality of something I would expect from at least a good 2.1 speaker set! The tone of the output can also be controlled but I usually leave that at half way. The only problem I have with the speakers is that they are not loud enough for my liking. I like listening to indie/alternative music so like it quite loud. However, don't get me wrong; they will certainly fill a room quite adequately! A fantastic buy at 30 either as a present or for yourself. The best value I've seen for a while!
 Good for the first 7 months then broken November 23, 2008
I liked these speakers when I got them, but I've just realised that the left speaker has stopped working which is very annoying. So they've only lasted 7 months. I'm now going to have to get a new set but they won't be creatives. Next time I'll spend a bit more as buying cheaper speakers are a false economy if they are going to break after a few months.

My new T10's were delivered very promptly on Wednesday morning and upon plugging them in there was a horrible distortion from the left speaker and even after turning them off there was still static noise from both.
To Amazon's credit they replaced them 2 days later and the replacements are working very well with excellent treble and bass response for their size and price.
I am very impressed but I appear to be the second reviewer who has had problems of this kind and I think Creative need to look at their quality control operation which allows faulty items like this to be overlooked.
Had it not been for this fault I would have given them 5 stars.
 You wont get better sound for your money (Great for TV) November 12, 2008
I was actually looking to improve the sound on my new Samsung 42 TV without going for the 5 speaker surroundsound with tons of cables, you know just make it better, not like a cinema. Well after reading the reviews I thought what the hell can always use them on the laptop so i went ahead and bought the T10. Must say they have absolutely transformed the TV at one tenth of the cost of surroundsound. The quality of sound is fantastic for something this price and size, the bass is excellent, trebles sharp,personally leave on full tone, you dont seem to get any less bass. It has transformed listening to music channels, they are simple but really, do you need anything else? I connected them directly to the headphone socket on the tv, they also have the black shiny case as per the Samsung, really you wont get more sound for your bucks. So impressed am I that i'm buying another pair for my Laptop.
