 Does what it should April 15, 2008
I agree with other reviewers comments that the packaging is far too big and a complete waste, however this review section should be for the product alone so I cannot understand how others can give a low star rating when they either agree the product works fine or haven't even used it yet!
On balance....it's inexpensive, works well, no problems.
Plus the box will come in handy if you move house!

Ordered two Belkin extension cables after reading reviews here. They arrived in a massive box, so big I thought it was a delivery from QVC for my wife!! It's only a USB cable for heavens sake, couldn't they have used a Jiffy bag? It's the reason I have only given 3 stars.

I have just received my cable but can't comment on it yet as haven't plug it in. It's the box that is ridiculous - 15"x12"x7" for one small cable. Come on Amazon that is just stupid.

This is a lead, with 2 ends... one plugs into the USB port, and the other takes whatever USB device you would otherwise have plugged into the port.
The only gripe I have about this is the HUGE amount of packaging it arrived in!!! It would have fitted into a normal sized padded envelope, but it arrived in a box which was (at a guess) half a metre wide & high, and even longer!! This meant it didn't fit in my letterbox, so someone had to be there to collect it. This was madness!!
I don't know whether it always comes from the same supplier though - so maybe others will package it more sensibly.

Its an extention lead. You plug it into the PC and plug other things into it. No problems, well made and the length they say!
