Product Description Q: How do I choose the right size wall mount bracket for my LCD/Plasma TV? Is this Allcam PLB109M Wall Mount Bracket compatible with my TV? A: - Check the back of your TV and find the four threaded holes (if there is no threaded holes or less then four holes, then the TV is not classified as wall-mountable);
- Measure the horizontal and vertical distances between them (in mm); for example, horizontal = 400mm vertical =200mm;
- Select a bracket whose supported max. mounting-hole pattern is larger than one you have just measured; but the overall size should be smaller than the TV otherwise the bracket will be stickout from the back of the TV;
- You might also want to check whether the TV connections/ports is facing backward or not, if yes then do NOT select super slim wall brackets like PLB104 and PLB105 series because you might have great difficulties to get the cables into the slim space between the TV and wall.
Don't just look at the TV sizes mentioned on the item title, it is only for general references. If you are still not sure if your TV is compatible with this Wall Mount or not, please Check our BracketFinder www.pickanoffer.co.uk

| Customer Reviews:
Great value but consider upgrading August 31, 2008 I read the earlier reviews and decided to buy this item. It was as good as the reviews suggests for the price. I had no issues setting it up as it had clear instructions. My only wobble was when the bolts provided for my 40 inch Sony Bravia were either too small or too big for the screws in the TV. I eventually worked out that you need to use the plastic black buffer things together with the longer screw to secure it.
One negative. I find that if I rotate the swivel closest to the TV away from it's perpendicular position (T shape) the TV slants down slightly. You can see that the bracket is feeling the weight of the TV and I wonder if I had gone for a more heavy duty bracket (just 15 pound more) would I still have this problem. In hindsight I would have paid the extra for the 40-70 inch bracket.

I've a 40" Sony Bravia LCD and wanted a swivel arm to hold this big LCD (23kg) at 90 degrees to the wall when in use, flush to the wall when not. So, it needed to be strong. In summary, the bracket is a good product and can swivel, tilt, moves well and is strong. In use, I can obtain the ideal watching angle which is amazing! Recommended product - why spend double or triple this amount when bought in store!
My experience in fitting my first TV arm to a wall: the back plate of the arm which goes flush with the wall is fairly wide (48cm) though was not wide enough to meet the demands of the wall I wanted to place this product on....upon drilling pilot holes, I found 1 vertical stud, though the next ones, left and right, were 61cm away so I could not place this arm on this wall....So, plan B was to find another wall and I found brick so I drilled 6 holes which only 4 were good. Putting up the arm and even with 4 of the 6 bolts secure, the arm was extremely strong having tested it with enough force.
The arm comes with lots of bolts and screws for different walls and different TVs, which was welcome. The set of bolts for my T V which fixes the back of the TV to the swivel unit were tiny (perhaps this was the norm with this VESA type?) so there were only a few revolutions to secure it. I hope this isn't the weak link in the chain.
In movement the arm has some tension which is good because you wouldn't want your TV swinging about! It stays where I want it which is tilted slightly down and when in use about 90degrees to the wall, although at 90 degrees the back plate is visible when watching the TV (the plate is black and I have white walls) so I bring the arm forward to hide the back plate.
When not in use, I push the arm flush to the wall. Sure, its not flush, but to get a TV flush another solution would be required which would probably mean preparing a big hole in the wall and sitting the arm within it (may be poss?) though I'm happy with this product.
Safe Heavyweight Bracket April 28, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a solid piece of kit and if you have any doubts about hanging a heavy TV on a wall this will do the job. Compared to other small slimline brackets this is a giant but it is hidden and the strong construction gives great peace of mind. My house has walls of the softer Thermolite blocks and I decided I needed a larger wall plate to spread the load and this has a really large steel wall plate. It comes with 6 large wall bolts and large wall plugs but you can use more bolts if your walls are a problem. It weighs over 11kgs (almost as much as the TV !)and has a 60kgs limit so if you have a medium TV now you probably will not have to buy another bracket if you upgrade later to something larger when the TV prices fall. Having looked at many brackets I could not find a better bracket and many other websites have this one as their best seller - but at higher prices. Recommended without no reservations.
Great value flexible wall mount February 23, 2008 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This is a bargain. I looked at a number of other options, usually around 250 and I am glad I risked going for this without being able to look at it first. It is easy to put up, all the fittings are provided and I think it would support about 3 or 4 TV's without trouble. I have a 37" Samsung and it is fine. It does look a bit industrial compared to the more expensive units but as you don't see it behind the TV who cares? One useful point is that, if your DIY is as bad as mine and your house is as old, you will be grateful for the number of different places you can place a screw through the wall plate - enough for mistakes plus additional 'if this falls off my wife will kill me' screws/bolts.
