Classy, solid, well designed plasma stand! July 9, 2008

Having looked at quite a number of possible stands for my new plasma TV, I found that the aesthetically pleasing Techlink Dais ticked all the boxes.
It arrived flat packed and took about 15 minutes to fit together. While it comes with easily followed visual instructions for slotting it together, the assembly is quite logical and intuitive and can be carried out without much reference to the plans. No tools are required. Note that you start with the top shelf on its back on the floor and build upwards towards the base. Once built, it is quite heavy and you will probably need a helping hand to turn it over right way up.
The top shelf is more than capable of bearing the weight of a 42" plasma while the other shelves will readily accept DVD player, recorders, set top satellite box, plus a load of DVDs.

I'd been looking around for a LCD TV stand for some time, but most were too low and/or didn't have enough space underneith for a Sky box, DVD player, mini Hi-Fi, Xbox etc.... This one looked perfect, and when it arrived was perfect! Once assembled it feels nice and solid and is big enough (without being too big!) to handle a 32" LCD TV and all of my other stuff. The cable management is non-existant but with a bit of time and a fist full of cable ties it easy to get it looking nice and tidy :)
