If you want a video camera to record high TV quality video for long events or days out you want a proper video camera.
If you want a small lightwaight portable camcorder to record thoes short 5min movies then this is the camcorder for you!
This is a great little device, video and sound quality is good and handles different lighting conditions very well. Very easy to operate just point and shoot.
Software for the device comes loaded on to the device and software is good for saving the video's, simple editing and provides the ability to quickley upload to your youtube account to share the video with your friends.

I don't actually own this camera as I want opinions on whether it will do what I require first, but didn't know where else to post to get seen. I'm looking for a video camera to take along to music gigs, but wasn't sure if this would be suitable, bearing in mind the dark lighting and loud sound. Any comments would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Just bought this a couple of weeks back as my sony camcorder never got used. This is small enough to carry around just in case those moments arise when you would not normally be carrying a camera.
Great to use for catching moments and uploading the results to facebook, no wires to find and hook up, just simply plug into a USB Port and off you go.

this product is a simple easy to use and feels of good quality. it is small enough to carry in pocket about the size of an old mobile phone. the software is built in as is the usb connector so when you have videod you just plug in to usb and follow instructions on sceen, no discs to load very simple. a video can be filmed and emailed in less than 5 mins even by a fool like me, its that easy .also when you switch it on it is ready to record in less than 3 seconds. only down side is video quality not great.

Just got it out of box and tried it out seems good to me easy to use quality seem very good for size of it going to a beatles tribute next weekend so i will try it out for real next week i am a bit of a techno wiz so it just up my street i bought it because of it's size mainly look's well made i think flip is short for flippen briliant.
